Road trips from London

With lockdown set to be lifted in the next few months, you may be planning some road trips for the rest of the year. If you're planning a getaway, be it for a week or the weekend, here are some of our favourite spots to travel to from London. Let us know which ones are on your list and what you have planned. 

The Cotswolds

Perfect for family trips or romantic getaways, we love the countryside in The Cotswolds and the seemingly slower pace of living. From Bath to Bibury, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Expect scenic views, country walks, and plenty of traditional pubs.

Bristol 

If you're looking for a more modern-break, bright lights and big city, Bristol could be the place for you. It is up and coming with lots of new additions in recent years; check out Clifton Suspension Bridge and the local breweries, plus the harbour!

Manchester

For a proper northern weekend, head to Manchester. Whether it's nightlife and bars or exploring the different areas from Chinatown to The Northern Quarter, Manchester has a whole lot of character. Visit if you are looking for plenty to do, friendly faces, and to be spoilt for choice by the food and drink scene.

The Peak District

Quieter living and plenty of walks, The Peak District is a must-visit for us. There are lots of different towns and villages, hills and walks to tackle. Pack a waterproof and some walking boots as chances are you will get caught in the rain, but don't let that deter you! Mam Tor and Kinder Scout are both great walks we would recommend.
