Maintaining your car
So, you have purchased your car and driven away, but what now? Maintaining your car is so important as not only does it keep you feeling proud as punch, but it protects the future values of the car as well. This means that when you come to sell it, it could potentially be worth more if you have kept up all necessary maintenance. Here is what you can do…
Regular servicing
By keeping on top of regular servicing and advisory work, it means that you will never let your car get to a point where there is no going back! Keep on top of servicing and MOTs and make sure you get work done as and when it needs doing.
Tyre checks
Keep on top of your tyres as these are arguably the most used part of the car! Although designed to be hard wearing, keeping them inflated and checking the treads can prevent further things from going wrong with the car.
Dents and scrapes
Accidents happen, but if you do happen to get a dent or a scrape, fixing it promptly is the best bet as it prevents further damage and rust building up. Whether it is tiny or a little larger, get it fixed ASAP and thank us later. Also, if you are selling your car, make sure there are no little dinks etc as you will get more money for a car in pristine condition.
Interior care
Looking after the interior is key too. A regular clean and tidy, as well as making sure there are no stains or marks will make your life easier in the long run. There are kits you can buy if things get messy but grab some cleaning equipment and make your car sparkle, it will leave it feeling like new, we promise you.
